School Management Committee (SMC)

In accordance with the provisions of the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws (Chapter 8) and subject to the relevant provisions of the Education Act of the State/UT concerned, Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School, managed by Alevoor Education Society, has constituted a School Management Committee (SMC) to ensure effective governance, academic excellence, and smooth administrative functioning of the school.

The School Management Committee functions under the overall control and supervision of the School Advisory Committee and plays a vital role in guiding the school in matters relating to academic planning, administrative oversight, staff welfare, financial discipline, and the overall development of the institution. The Committee works in alignment with the policies, rules, and regulations framed by CBSE and other competent authorities from time to time.

The SMC ensures that admissions, academic programmes, appointments, financial management, safety measures, and student welfare practices are carried out strictly in accordance with applicable CBSE norms and statutory requirements. It also provides strategic direction for short-term and long-term growth of the institution while maintaining transparency, accountability, and compliance.

All provisions related to the constitution, representation, tenure, meetings, and functioning of the School Management Committee, as prescribed by CBSE, are duly complied with and implemented by the school as mandated under Chapter 8 of the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws.
