About the School
Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School (APPS), formerly known as Nehru High School, has been a cornerstone of quality education in Alevoor since its establishment in 1964. With the addition of a Pre-Primary Section in 2014, the school has consistently expanded its reach, nurturing young minds from foundational years through high school.
Now functioning under the same dedicated Alevoor Education Trust, the institution has embraced a renewed vision and mission — one that emphasizes holistic development, academic excellence, and value-based learning.
In line with this progressive vision, Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School is set to adopt the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum from the academic year 2026–27, aligning its educational practices with national standards and opening wider academic avenues for its students.
Located in the peaceful and culturally vibrant village of Alevoor, Udupi, Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School offers co-educational schooling, currently affiliated with the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). With a focus on character, competence, and creativity, the school blends traditional values with modern educational strategies to shape confident, compassionate, and capable individuals.
