The Student Council of Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School represents the voice, discipline, confidence and leadership spirit of our students. Through the Investiture Ceremony, elected and selected student leaders are entrusted with responsibility, service and the duty to uphold the values of the school.

Investiture Ceremony 2025–2026

Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School held its grand Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–2026 on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the school auditorium. The programme began at 10:00 A.M. and was attended by students, staff, parents and invited dignitaries. The ceremony marked a proud and meaningful occasion in the school calendar.

The event was conducted under the divine blessings of His Holiness Shri Shri Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji and under the guidance of the Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council. It reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education and the nurturing of future leaders.

Purpose of the Student Council

The Student Council provides students with opportunities to develop leadership qualities, responsibility, teamwork and public confidence. Council members help maintain discipline, support school activities, encourage participation and act as role models for their peers.

Student Council Houses

Student leaders represent four houses of the school. These houses help students develop belongingness, teamwork, leadership and healthy competitive spirit.

Dignitaries and Programme Highlights

The Chief Guest, Mr. Keertesh S, Program Manager at the Autism Society of Udupi, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on empathy, inclusion and responsible leadership. He encouraged students to lead with compassion and integrity.

The ceremony was enriched by the presence of Dr. P. Sreeramana Aithal, Director of PIM Udupi and Honorary Secretary of the School, Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, Honorary Treasurer and Research Professor at Srinivas University, and Smt. Sandhya V B, Principal of the school.

Oath-Taking Ceremony

The highlight of the programme was the formal induction of the Prefectorial Council for 2025–2026. Student leaders received their sashes and badges in a ceremonial procession. The oath-taking ceremony reflected their commitment to discipline, responsibility, integrity and service.

Principal Smt. Sandhya V B congratulated the newly inducted council members and reminded them that leadership is not defined by authority, but by the courage to act with empathy and integrity.
